THE PROJECT INVOLVES RECONSTRUCTION OF THE ROAD FROM THE PAIX BOUCHE GAP TO MORNE CITON, VIA LA GUERRE.

On Wednesday May 20, contracts were officially signed for the La Guerre and Plateau Roads Reconstruction Project, paving the way for commencement of works.

This is the latest in a long list of interventions being done under the Road Improvement and Maintenance Program (Phase IV), funded by the Republic of China/Taiwan.

The La Guerre and Plateau Roads Reconstruction Project includes complete reconstruction of approximately 3, 696 meters of road from the Paix Bouche Gap to Morne Citon via La Guerre, drainage works, and residence access.

The project is being executed by OECC Mega Construction and scheduled for completion in eight months, weather permitting. During the construction phases there will be some inconveniences, dust, and noise pollution.

The Department of Infrastructure apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks residents for their patience and understanding.
