Cuban Ambassador to Saint Lucia, His Excellency Alejandro Simancas Marin, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Minister for Health and Wellness, Sen. Hon. Mary Isaac.

The visit got underway with a meeting discussing a range of issues including Saint Lucian medical students in Cuba, St. Jude Hospital and the health system.

Ambassador Marin expressed his commitment to continue strengthening the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Sen. Hon Mary Isaac expressed heartfelt gratitude to the government and people of Cuba for the assistance provided over the past years.
