Saint Lucia’s acclaimed high jumper, Levern Spencer, in collaboration with the group F.O.C.U.S, and the Babonneau Constituency Council will host an event dubbed "Levern Treats 40 at 40," this Sunday.

The initiative to pay it forward is part of Saint Lucia's 40th anniversary of Independence celebrations, and also marks Levern Spencer's 20th consecutive year of national representation. At the event, 40 seniors from the Babonneau community will be treated to a special three-course lunch, while a cultural band from the community will indulge the seniors with musical accompaniment.

Levern Treats 40 at 40 will be held at the Union Orchid Garden on Feb. 17. The event begins at 1:30 p.m.
