CITIZENS ARE ENCOURAGED TO CONTINUE SHARING CRITICAL INFORMATION WITH POLICE.

Following recent reports of stolen vehicles, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) with responsibility for Operations, George Nicholas, urged individuals to resort to judicial proceedings.

ACP Nicholas stated that virtual complainants in two out of the four recent cases declined pursuing court action against the suspects. Judicial proceedings, he said, would serve as a deterrent for reoffending.

The stolen vehicles were all recovered between Jan. 24, and 25.

“All four vehicles were recovered intact and returned to their respective owners. For this, I must commend the officers involved for their quick response and diligence, as well as the public for the viable information furnished to the various units,” ACP Nicholas said. “I, and by extension the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force wishes to encourage persons to continue sharing critical information with the police, which can bring about resolution to crimes.”
