Submissions open for Earth Day poster competition

PARTICIPANTS MUST SUBMIT AN ORIGINAL POSTER DEPICTING THE 2019 THEME: PROTECT OUR SPECIES.

The United States Embassy to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean, and the OECS is pleased to announce its “Protect Our Species” Earth Day 2019 poster competition.

The competition is open to all individuals between the ages of 16 and 21.

The US Embassy, Bridgetown, is committed to encouraging young people to pursue their passions for the creative and visual arts as a means of protecting species and the environment. The Embassy will be hosting the competition in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Participants in each country will have the opportunity to win prize packages including laptops and tablets.

Individuals between the age of 16 and 21 are invited to submit an original poster depicting the theme “Protect Our Species” accompanied by a brief paragraph not exceeding 250 words, explaining the message of the poster.
