THE EVENT IS A PRECURSOR TO THE BUSINESS INCUBATOR AND ACCELERATOR PROGRAMME.

Fostering greater entrepreneurship via effective mentorship and direct access to key markets forms a critical part of Invest Saint Lucia’s mandate.

To this end, ISL continues to seek new and innovative ways in which entrepreneurs can equip themselves with the tools that aid the overall growth and success of their respective businesses.

In an effort to encourage networking, Invest Saint Lucia (ISL) hosted a Saint Lucia Entrepreneurs Meetup 2019. The event, which was held under the theme “Doing What You Love

and Being Successful Doing It: Ingredients for Success,” is a precursor to a broader programme currently being finalized by ISL, namely the Business Incubator and Accelerator Programme.

Dave Headley, the project coordinator for the Business Incubator and Accelerator Programme, said the project helps to develop the business framework, and the entrepreneurs.

The Saint Lucia Entrepreneurs Meetup included a panel discussion with three Saint Lucian entrepreneurs: Nydia Norville, Henson Hunte, and Ian Mitchell.

Kerwin Caesar, owner of Jus Write, a communications and PR solution for businesses, stated that the meetup allowed him as a new business owner to network and advertise his trade.

The Saint Lucia Entrepreneurs Meetup 2019 was held at the Pink Papaya Restaurant, Pointe

Seraphine, on Monday, Sep. 2.
