Viking Traders Limited has been one of the beneficiaries from a recently conducted Export Saint Lucia mission to the neighboring French isle of Martinique.

Viking Traders Limited manufactures a range of over 100 award-winning, quality products, including specially-blended herbs and spices, flavorful condiments, baking goods, drinks, and gift items.

During the mission held in July, Export Saint Lucia had the task of securing buyers for several of its clients and after many successful meetings opportunity came knocking. A buyer seemed keenly interested in the company’s range of products and with the company looking to expand its reach in the French isle, it relished the opportunity to sit and discuss the venture with the buyer, a week after interest had been sparked.

After positive discussions, Viking Traders Limited saw its first successful export of product consisting of spices, essences (almond, vanilla) and coconut products. Following this, the company had a second order of products, indicating positive signs of growth for the relationship between Viking Traders Limited and the new buyer.

Export Saint Lucia is pleased to have assisted the company in its efforts to widen its market, and looks forward to the benefits derived out of this newly forged relationship.

In the past Export Saint Lucia has assisted Viking Traders Limited with its Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification, capacity building, trade show participation as well as procurement of new equipment, allowing the company to access new markets and meet demand.
