THE TEMPORARY MEASURES AIM TO REDUCE THE RISK OF EXPOSURE TO COVID-19.

The health and safety of patients, visitors, employees and our communities remain a priority at the Millennium Heights Medical Complex. Therefore, in line with the latest guidelines and changes in health protocols related to the surge in COVID-19 cases in Saint Lucia, the Complex has revised its Labour and Delivery Accompanying Support policy.

Effective Wednesday, Aug. 18, as we balance benefits to the individual patient with the duty to reduce infectious exposures to visitors, other patients, the community, and the healthcare team, accompanying support will not be allowed into the labour and delivery rooms until further notice.

These measures are temporary and are intended to reduce the potential risk to our patients, staff and visitors.

The Millennium Heights Medical Complex thanks the public for its understanding and cooperation.
