INSTRUCTION AND LEARNING WILL COMMENCE ON SEP. 13, FOR ALL EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING INSTITUTIONS.

Guided by the advice of the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs and following consultations with stakeholders, including the Saint Lucia Teachers’ Union and the National Principal Association, the Department of Education wishes to advise of the following:

  • The annual Planning and Preparation week for principals and teachers previously agreed for the period Monday 30th August, 2021 to Friday 3rd September, 2021 has now been extended to continue through to Friday 10th September, 2021 to allow for further development of plans given the proposed teaching and learning modality for the reopening of school.
