THE ROTARY’S ACTIVITIES EXEMPLIFY THE CHARITY OF THOSE WHO ADVOCATE FOR SERVICE ABOVE SELF.

The Rotary Satellite Club of Saint Lucia Sunset, a subsidiary of Rotary International, has been officially established.

The Satellite Club, like rotary, brings together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.

Soraya Warner Gustave, the president of the Rotary Satellite Club of Saint Lucia Sunset, said: “Rotary is not a charitable organization yet. Its activities exemplify the charity and sacrifices that one should except from people who believe they have a responsibility to help others.”

Twenty-three new members have formally been inducted into the Rotary Satellite Club of Saint Lucia.

“It is our duty to bring in new members but expand our membership, and advocate for service above self,” Mrs. Gustave said.

Zamala Joseph has been elected the new Chair of the Rotary Satellite Club of Saint Lucia Sunset.

“I want us to understand that as rotarians, new rotarians, that whilst in rotaract we serve through fellowship. In rotary we are called to serve through our professions, and in everything that we do.”

The Rotary Club has given more than 50 years of Service to Saint Lucia.
