Saint Lucia to launch Summer Festival in Trinidad, wider Caribbean

CARIBCATION AIMS TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF VISITORS WHO GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE SAINT LUCIA.

Fresh of the heels of Saint Lucia Jazz in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) will launch the rest of the Saint Lucia Summer Festival in its second largest Caribbean market, Trinidad, on May 24.

With the Caribbean being a primary source market, in keeping with the Caribcation strategy which is laser-focused on the region, the campaign will thereafter continue in other islands as the SLTA aims to increase the number of visitors who get the opportunity to experience Saint Lucia’s limitless sources of inspiration.

Some of Saint Lucia’s carnival bands and properties have also seized the opportunity to showcase their offerings to the Trinidad and Tobago public.

In this regard, a press conference will be held on Tuesday, May 21. On hand to address the media will be Mr. Christopher Gustave – SLTA Marketing Manager for Caribbean and Events; Ms. Jackie Mathurin – SLTA Senior Marketing Manager; carnival band managers; and sales representatives from various properties.

The press conference will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the conference room of the SLTA.
