VACANCY
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions:
JOB TITLE: SmartStream Administrator
Purpose
- To control, support and maintain the SmartStream Financial Information Management System (FMIS) of the Government of St. Lucia.
- To test, implement and document upgrades and service patches to FMIS software.
- To monitor and enforce security and protection of the FMIS systems
- To analyse client requirements and provide analysis, design, development, testing and documentation services in order to develop supporting applications to the FMIS
- To develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports based on FMIS data
- To liaise with the SmartStream software vendor to escalate and resolve any application inconsistencies
- To assist the Information Technology Manager in all aspects of the computing environment.
Location
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in a computer related discipline.
- At least two (2) years experience in the computing environment.
- Experience in Administration the SmartStream Financial Management suite of programs (General Ledger, Funds Control, Purchasing, Payables)
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or other similar database environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to appreciate and effectively address the needs of users.
- Ability to programme in Micorsoft Access would be an asset.
- Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures would be an asset
