The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Transport wishes to advise the public that the section of roadway between Fond Joyeaux and Belle Vue, Vieux Fort will be closed to facilitate the reconstruction of a collapsed culvert.

The works are scheduled to commence on Tuesday, April 2.

The project is expected to be completed within three weeks of commencement barring any unforeseen circumstances, including inclement weather. Given that the site does not allow for the construction of a bypass, motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes during the construction period. Delays are likely.
