THE CAD EMPHASIZES THE IMPORTANCE OF CONSUMER VIGILANCE AND RESPONSIBILITY.
In keeping with its mandate to promote and protect the rights of all consumers in Saint Lucia, the Consumer Affairs Department of the Ministry of Commerce, Manufacturing, Business Development, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs wishes to inform the public that telephone numbers have been made available to register any valid consumer-related concerns or complaints.

If the prices of goods on shelves do not reflect the anticipated 12.5 percent reduction in Value Added Tax (VAT), please reach out at 468-4239, 468-4232, 468-4226, or 468-4224.

Documentary evidence such as videos, photographs or scanned bills or receipts to support claims of non-compliance by businesses can also be emailed to the Consumer Affairs Department at consumeraffairs.commerce@govt.lc.
While the Consumer Affairs Department remains committed to closely monitoring the prices of imports as well as the prices of goods on shelves, we take this opportunity to emphasize consumer vigilance and adherence to consumer responsibilities.
