Fuel prices decrease

The price changes take effect today, June 12, and will be next adjusted on July 3.

In keeping with changes in international oil prices and government’s application of the three-week modified market pass-through petroleum pricing mechanism, the retail prices of unleaded gasoline, diesel, and liquid petroleum gas (LPG) have changed.

The retail price of gasoline decreased from $2.61 to $2.55 per litre, or from $11.88 to $11.61 per gallon. The retail price of diesel decreased from $2.35 to $2.27 per litre, or from $10.67 to $10.32 per gallon. The 20 pound (9.07 kg) LPG cylinder decreased from $30.49 to $29.65 per cylinder; the 22 pound (9.98 kg) LPG cylinder, from $33.82 to $32.89 per cylinder, and the 100 pound (45.36kg) cylinder from $188.52 to $184.28 per cylinder. The price of kerosene remains unchanged at $1.41 per litre or $6.39 per gallon.

The price changes take effect on Monday, June 12. The retail prices of fuel products will be next adjusted on July 3.
