The Saint Lucia Solid Waste Management (SLSWMA) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), has teamed up with Jua Kali, a waste management enterprise, to introduce its Resource Recovery Pilot Project into three schools—the Jon Odlum Memorial Secondary, Bexon Primary, and the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College.

The schools pilot project is one element of a broader co-operation agreement between the UNEP and the SLSWMA towards the development of a “National Strategy for Integrated Waste Management in Saint Lucia."
