THE REOPENING OF THE WELLNESS CENTRE ENSURES THE FULL RESUMPTION OF ROUTINE HEALTH SERVICES.
The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and Elderly Affairs is pleased to announce the reopening of the Vieux Fort Wellness Centre on Monday January 20th, 2025. The reopening of the Vieux Fort Wellness Centre ensures the full resumption of routine health services for the community.
Additionally, the Centre will now offer two specialized services, the Men’s Health Clinic and the Colposcopy Clinic, to better address the diverse health needs of the population.
The Men’s Health Clinic will be held on the second Saturday of every month, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. This clinic is dedicated to promoting men's health and addressing issues such as prostate health, chronic disease management, and preventive care.
The Colposcopy Clinic, designed to support women’s health, will take place on the second Wednesday of every month through referrals from Cervical Cancer Screening. This service aims to provide advanced diagnostic care for women, including the evaluation and management of cervical health concerns.
The public is reminded that the Vieux Fort Wellness Centre operates during the following hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
