Prime Minister to address investors and the Saint Lucian diaspora

Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Kenny D. Anthony traveled to London, Thursday, to address a gathering of investors in London, in an effort to promote investment in Saint Lucia.

The Prime Minister will inform investors of investment possibilities in Saint Lucia, and the efforts of the government to make the island more investor friendly and attract new investment. Dr. Anthony’s discussions will focus on property development, government’s infrastructure program, and the global citizenship program.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will be the Guest of Honor and deliver an address at the Saint Lucia Gala Dinner and Awards Night to be hosted by the Saint Lucia High Commission in London this Saturday, June 28. The black-tie affair will be attended by Saint Lucians in the United Kingdom, diplomats, British Government officials, investors, and tourism representatives. The Gala will raise funds for the Comfort Bay Senior Citizens Home in Vieux Fort.

All arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit were undertaken by the Saint Lucia High Commission in London and the Saint Lucia Permanent Mission to UNESCO.

During Dr. Anthony's absence, Hon. Philip J. Pierre, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport, will act as Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs.
