THE DEPARTMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURE, PORTS AND TRANSPORT WISHES TO INFORM THE PUBLIC THAT THE REHABILITATION OF THE BOCAGE ROAD (FROM THE MORNE DU DON WATER TANKS TO THE GIRARD CACAO INTERSECTION) WILL COMMENCE ON MONDAY JUNE 26TH 2023.

The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Transport wishes to inform the public that the rehabilitation of the Bocage Road (from the Morne Du Don water tanks to the Girard Cacao intersection) will commence on Monday June 26th 2023.

The scope of works includes the rehabilitation of the road surface, and the construction of retaining walls and drains.

As a result, some sections of the road are expected to be closed during construction.

The estimated time of completion, barring any unforeseen circumstances, is three (3) months. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when traversing the work site.

The public will be regularly updated on the progress of the project.

The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Transport apologises for any inconveniences likely to be caused to the public as a result of the upcoming works.
