The Department of Commerce, International Trade, Investment, Enterprise Development and Consumer Affairs continues its efforts to facilitate the growth of the Micro and Small Enterprise (MSE) Sector in Saint Lucia, through the Small Business Development Centre (SBDC) and the SBDC network of partners.
Visiting consultants from the Organization of American States (OAS) and the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) will be in Saint Lucia from Sep. 26 - 29.
The purpose of this visit is to review the current operations of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Saint Lucia; to engage stakeholders regarding a plan of action for Phase II of the SBDC program; to hold a consultation for the development of a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) policy in Saint Lucia; and to facilitate further capacity building for staff of the SBDC and network partners.
The consultations will be held at the conference room of the Department of Commerce, on the fourth floor of the Heraldine Rock Building, Waterfront, Castries; and also at the GAMA Learning Institute, Maurice Mason Avenue, l’Anse Road, Sans Soucis, Castries.
