The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Transport wishes to inform the public of the temporary closure of our Union Complex Office from 12 p.m., noon, on Wednesday, Sep. 20 through to Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023 to facilitate deep cleaning and remedial works. Business operations will resume on Wednesday, Oct. 4. The following arrangements have been made to access critical services:

TECHNICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT:

ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT

• All clerical services, payments, submission and collection of electrical inspection certificates will be at the Public Service Training Institute (formerly Spinners), Union.

TRANSPORT

• Licensing and Motor Vehicle transactions can be done at the Public Service Training Institute EXCEPT collection of driver’s license, photos, and printing
• Practical driving examinations continue as normal
• All theory exams are suspended

• Visit the ICT Centre on Bourbon Street, Castries for DigiGov related transactions.

ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS:

• Delivery and collection of general correspondence will be at the Materials Testing Laboratory.  Telephone number: 468-4300
