THROUGHOUT THE MONTH OF JUNE, WE ASK ALL STAFF, PARTNERS, AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC TO WEAR RED EVERY FRIDAY IN HONOR OF WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY
On Sunday, June 14th, 2026, Saint Lucia joins the global community in observing World Blood Donor Day, under this year's theme: "One Drop of Humanity: Give Blood, Save Lives"
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Nutrition, in collaboration with the Millennium Heights Medical Complex and St. Jude Hospital, invites every eligible Saint Lucian to be part of something life-saving this June.
ON FRIDAYS, WE WEAR RED
Throughout the month of June, we are asking all staff, partners, and members of the public to wear red every Friday in honor of World Blood Donor Day. Wearing red is a simple but powerful show of solidarity, a visible reminder of the donors who give, the patients who receive, and the lives that hang in the balance. Take a photo with your team in red and help us spread the message on social media.
