THE YOUTH ECONOMY AGENCY PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR SELECTED PARTICIPANTS.
On Saturday, June 21st, 2025, WORK Digital Media successfully hosted its second AI Next Digital Level Mastery Course, a blended in-person and online learning experience aimed at empowering professionals and entrepreneurs to harness the transformative power of artificial intelligence.
Led by Wamil Kendall, Managing Director of WORK Digital Media, the course brought together a diverse group of eager participants ready to take their AI knowledge to the next level. From business owners to freelancers, attendees engaged in a full-day intensive designed to make artificial intelligence tools practical, relevant, and accessible.
“Our goal is to shift the narrative around AI,” said Kendall. “It’s not about replacing people. It’s about giving them the tools to work smarter, build faster, and stay globally competitive.”
Participants received hands-on instruction across four key modules:
•AI Fundamentals & Prompt Engineering
•Business and Marketing with AI
•Website Development using AI Tools
•Automation & Optimization
The highlight for many was the opportunity to bring their business ideas to life, building functional websites during the workshop using AI-powered tools. The day culminated in a graduation ceremony, where each participant was awarded a certificate recognizing their commitment to self-improvement and digital transformation.
Crucially, several participants were sponsored through the Youth Economy Agency, making the training accessible to up-and-coming entrepreneurs.
“This course opened my eyes to how I can use AI to help other businesses,” said one participant. “It’s not just theory, we built things. I left with skills I can immediately use.”
Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many attendees expressing interest in using their newly gained skills to build service-based businesses supporting others in navigating AI.
This workshop is part of a growing series by WORK Digital Media aimed at developing AI literacy across Saint Lucia and the wider region. According to Kendall, more advanced training sessions are on the horizon as the organization doubles down on its mission to prepare individuals and businesses for a digital-first future.
