The Department of Education and Digital Transformation invites suitably qualified persons to submit applications for the 1st Generation Full Scholarship-Monroe University to pursue Bachelor’s Degrees for the academic year 2026/2027.
Seventy-five (75) applicants will receive full scholarships; one hundred percent (100%) waiver of tuition fees and books. These awards are applicable ONLY to new students commencing studies in the enrolment year of September 2026.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for an award, applicants must:
- be citizens of Saint Lucia – proof of citizenship must be submitted;
- be 1st Generation (first in the family to receive a university education);
- complete the Department of Education’s scholarship application form;
- be accepted to Monroe University for the June 2026 intake; and
- be in financial need (Financial Needs Assessment form must be completed).

Please note that applications are done online ONLY via the Department of Education’s scholarship website portal: http://scholarships.education.gov.lc/ Applicants must first register on the aforementioned portal before filling out the application.

- After submitting the online application, you will receive a confirmation email.
