The General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (OAS) through the Department of Human Development, Education and Employment is offering scholarships in the programme Evaluating the Impact of Development Programmes on Food Security which will run from November 28th, 2016 to March 3rd, 2017.  The modality of the course is online and the language of instruction is English.

 

OBJECTIVES

The course aims to:

  • contribute to the impact assessment of food security within the context of development programmes; and
  • assess the impact, the interpretation and the communication of the results.

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for the scholarship, the candidates must:

  • be citizens or permanent residents of a member state of the OAS; 
  • have an academic degree especially in social sciences; and 
  • submit the completed application and supporting documents before the deadline set by the Department of Education, Innovation and Gender Relations.

 

BENEFITS

The recipient will receive the following:

50% partial scholarship (Scholarship recipients will be responsible for the payment of 50% remaining of the tuition fee: US$500.00)
