2023 OAS “GRID CONNECTED AND STAND-ALONE PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS
The Organisation of American States (OAS) is pleased to offer the online course in Grid Connected, and Stand-Alone Photovoltaic Systems. This course introduces the student to the use of photovoltaic energy in the generation of electrical energy for isolated applications (off-grid PV systems) and the mains power supply (grid-tied PV systems). This course is organized as a modular course of 6 European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS).

Documents required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) Diploma;
- One (1) letter of recommendation from the employer, institution or organization to which you belong. It must be signed and addressed to:
The Professional Development Scholarship Program of the OAS,
Department of Human Development,
Education and Employment.
- Undocumented resume or curriculum vitae (Maximum 2 pages);
- Copy of ID or Passport; and
- Certificate of language proficiency (if your native language is not English).
Please note that all required documents must be scanned in black and white in one single PDF file no larger than 3MB for submission and should be uploaded to https://www.cursofotovoltaica.com/en/introduction-to-photovoltaic/.
In addition, the Online application form must be printed and attached to a completed Government of Saint Lucia Scholarship Application form which is accessible at http://www.govt.lc/forms/scholarship-application-form.
The completed Government of Saint Lucia Scholarship Application form along with copies of the documents required must be submitted at the Human Resource Development Unit of the Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development, Innovation, Science, Technology and Vocational Training, 4th Floor, Francis Compton Building, The Waterfront, Castries.
