The Department of Education and Digital Transformation invites applications from suitably qualified students for the financial assistance to pursue the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programme at Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC) for the September 2026 intake.
The initiative forms part of the Government of Saint Lucia’s commitment to expanding access to tertiary education, reducing financial barriers to professional training and strengthening the country’s human-resource capacity in critical areas such as healthcare.
The BSN programme provides students with the educational and experimental foundation required for entry-level professional nursing practice in Saint Lucia and internationally and provides a foundation for nurses to pursue graduate-level studies and specialization in areas including midwifery, clinical nursing and nursing practioner practice to name a few.
ELIGIBILITY
The Financial Assistance Programe is available to:
- New students enrolling in the BSN progrmme at SALCC; and
- Students who are already enrolled in the BSN programme and have not previously applied for financial assistance
Students who are already receiving financial assistance under the programme are not required to reapply. These students will reman eligible and will continue to be considered under the programe, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
