Johnson & Wales University (JWU), located in Florida, USA, in collaboration with the Government of Saint Lucia, is offering partial scholarships to Saint Lucian students to pursue Undergraduate studies, particularly in Hospitality Studies and Culinary Arts, commencing August 2015. Successful applicants will also have an opportunity to apply for additional scholarships at JWU.
The Johnson and Wales University is a career university whose focus is to provide students with a combination of hands-on technical training with analytical skills. The institution offers accredited undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in Business, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Technology and Education. The programmes are career-focused, to provide students with the knowledge and skills which employers have identified as necessary for career success.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:
- possess at least an Associate’s degree or three (3) A Levels and five (5) CXC General Proficiency Subjects (Grades 1 and 2) including Mathematics and English;
- have gained a GPA of 3.0+ to qualify for the scholarship; and
- include their Acceptance Letter for the period of Study at JWU.
BENEFITS
- Successful candidates will benefit from a contribution of US$10,000.00 to their tuition fees from JWU and US$5,000.00 from the Government of Saint Lucia per year for up to four years.
