KEMITRAAN NEGARA BERKEMBANG (KNB) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME 2023

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Caracas is informing of the call for applications for the Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) Scholarship Programme for the period 2023.  The Scholarship is offered by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, to potential students from Saint Lucia to earn bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. Applicants can choose one of twenty-seven (27) universities in Indonesia.

• The application process is conducted online via the website: https://knb.kemdikbud.go.id

Application Procedure

• Download the KNB Scholarship Offer Letter from the KNB Scholarship website;
• Submit the Invitation letter, applicant’s passport, academic certificates and academic transcripts to the Indonesian Embassy or Indonesian Consulate to acquire the recommendation letter; and 
• Complete the online application process

Selection process

The selection results will be broadcasted online through the KNB Scholarship website and officially announced through the Indonesian Embassy publication network.

Application requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Applicants should be no older than 25 years old;
• Applicants should possess an Associate Degree (please provide the scanned degree certificate and academic transcripts in English). Please be advised that bachelor’s degree holder is not eligible to apply for the bachelor’s degree scholarship;
• Applicants should provide the recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy or the Indonesian Consulate General;
• Applicants should provide a recommendation letter from their employer or immediate supervisor;
• Applicants should provide academic recommendation letter from previous schools;
• Proof of citizenship ( Copy of passport for National Identification Card)

• Master’s Degree

• Applicants should be no older than 35 years old;
• Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree (please provide the scanned degree certificate and academic transcripts in English). Please be advised that master degree holder is not eligible to apply for the master’s  degree scholarship;
• Applicants should provide the recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy or the Indonesian Consulate General;
• Applicants should provide a recommendation letter from their employer or immediate supervisor;
• Applicants should provide academic recommendation letter from previous schools;
• Proof of citizenship ( Copy of passport for National Identification Card);

• Doctoral Degree

• Applicants should be no older than 40 years old;
• Applicants should possess a Master’s degree (please provide the scanned degree certificate and academic transcripts in English). Please be advised that doctoral degree holders are not eligible to apply;
• Applicants should provide the recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy or the Indonesian Consulate General;
• Applicants should provide a recommendation letter from their employer or immediate supervisor;
• Applicants should provide an academic recommendation letter from previous schools;
• Proof of citizenship ( Copy of passport for National Identification Card);

The deadline to apply for this scholarship is no later than Saturday, February 15, 2023.
