SUBJECT   :	Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Scholarship Programme 2027

 

The Department of Education and Digital Transformation is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Scholarship Programme. Offered through the Embassy of the Republic of Korea under the Official Development Assistance (ODA) Programme of the Government of the Republic of Korea, this prestigious scholarship initiative provides qualified candidates with the opportunity to pursue advanced studies and professional development in the Republic of Korea.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

KOICA promotes cooperation, mutual exchange and sustainable socioeconomic development in partner countries through a range of initiatives, including fellowship programmes, volunteer dispatch programmes, humanitarian assistance, public-private partnerships and bilateral and multilateral development projects.

 

TO BE ELGIBLE APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

 

  1. be a citizen Saint Lucia;
  2. must be government officials and receive official nomination from their respective governments;
  3. under the age of 40
  4. must be in good health, both mentally and physically;
  5. must have obtained the required degree;
    • Master’s Programme - Bachelor’s Degree with preferably two (2) years minimum experience in the field of study
    • Doctoral Programme – Master’s Degree with preferably three (3) years minimum experience in the field of study
  6. must have a strong command of English, both in speaking and writing;
  7. must not be a past recipient of a scholarship for a degree programme from the Korean Government;
  8. must be employed by the government during and after the programme;
  9. must meet the criteria set by the university they are applying to.
