MONROE COLLEGE PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS 2016/2017

The Ministry of Education, Innovation, Gender Relations and Sustainable Development invites suitably qualified persons to submit applications for the Government of Saint Lucia-Monroe College Scholarship to pursue Bachelor’s Degrees tenable at Monroe College (St. Lucia Campus).

The award covers fifty percent (50%) of tuition fees and is applicable to ONLY to new students commencing studies in the new the academic year September 2016.  Applicants are to note that:

  1. the scholarship does not include the cost of books and any other costs associated with the degree;
  2. scholarships are non-transferrable and can only be used by the awardee;
  3. scholarship awardees must meet the College’s admission requirements;
  4. awardee must maintain a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 The scholarship may be withdrawn if the requisite GPA is not maintained;
  5. awardees must adhere and abide to all the rules and policies as outlined in the current school’s catalogue and /or Student Handbook.   

 

In order to be eligible for consideration, applicants must: 

  1. be citizens of St. Lucia – proof of citizenship must be submitted;
  2. have gained acceptance into Monroe College (St. Lucia Campus) for the academic year commencing September 2016, to pursue full-time studies; a letter of acceptance must be submitted;
  3. be in financial need (Financial Needs Assessment form must be completed).

Please note that incomplete and late application forms will NOT be considered.
