MOROCCAN AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION (AMCI)/AL AKHAWAYN UNIVERSITY – MASTER OF ARTS IN INTERNATIONAL STUDIES AND DIPLOMACY (MAISD)
The Embassy of Morocco is informing that the Agence Marocaine de Cooperation Internationale’s (AMCI's) will offer one (1) scholarship for a Master of Arts in International Studies and Diplomacy (MAISD) through the Al Akhawayn University in the city of Ifrane (UAI), Morocco. The programme will commence in January 2023.
The Master of Arts in International Studies & Diplomacy (MAISD) porgramme provides students with a strong theoretical background and the analytical skills essential to gaining an understanding of international issues and events.
VALUE OF SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship will cover the following costs:
- Coverage of air transport costs by the AMCI (outward and return plane ticket at the end of studies);
- Reception at the airport by the AMCI and transportation to the UAI;
- Coverage of accommodation and catering costs by the AMCI, as well as health insurance;
- Total exemption from registration and tuition fees.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Candidates will be selected based on a review of the application files submitted to the AMCI and should meet the following criteria:
- Be 25 years old, at most, on January 1, 2023;
- Be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to Moroccan license), obtained with an overage of 90/100 or GPA of 3.0 to enroll in the “Master’s programme in International studies and Diplomacy” in UAI
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
All submitted applications should include the following documents:
- Photocopy of the Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent to the Moroccan license) or certificate of success in the final exams (the original must be provided in the event of selection;
- Transcript of final diploma marks;
- Birth Certificate;
- Photocopy of passport or ID;
- A recent clean criminal record;
- A medical certificate issued by the public health services attesting to the physical fitness of the candidate and certifying that he/she is vaccinated and that he/she is not suffering from any contagious or acute disease or carrying a pandemic, in particular tuberculosis. The candidate may be required to undergo a counter-visit upon arrival in Morocco;
- Two (2) recent colour passport photos.
Completed application forms should be submitted at the Human Resource Development Unit of the Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development, Innovation, Science, Technology and Vocational Training, 4th Floor, Francis Compton Building, The Waterfront, Castries.
