The Organization of American States (OAS), through the Department of Human development and the University of the West Indies (UWI), through the OAS Partnerships Programme for Education and Training (PAEC), are offering scholarships to qualified candidate of the Americas to participate in its masters degree programmes.  

The programme will start August 2016 and is expected to be completed by July 2017.  The modality of the course is onsite in Barbados, Jamaica or Trinidad and Tobago and it will be imparted in English.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this scholarship opportunity, an applicant must:
1.    provide an unconditional admission Letter to University of the West Indies;
2.    be citizens and/or permanent legal residents of an OAS member state;
3.    submit a complete scholarship application with all supporting documents;
4.    have not received other scholarship from the OAS for the same level of studies and/or programme of study as advertised in this announcement and;
5.    not be an OAS staff or individual who maintains employment contracts with the OAS or a staff of a Permanent Mission to the OAS or immediate relatives of a staff of a Permanent Mission to the OAS.

BENEFITS
The OAS and UWI will provide USD $7,000 to cover the tuition fees.
