Regional Outreach – Western Illinois University (WIU) and
Other Universities in the United States of America (USA) and Canada
The Department of Education, Innovation and Vocational Training and Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC) will be engaging in an outreach programme with Western Illinois University (WIU) and other Universities of the United States of America (USA) and Canada. The outreach programme aims at providing scholarship opportunities to Saint Lucians.
The outreach is for undergraduate and graduate study opportunities (Online & In-Person).
Programme Objective:
- Meet and discuss options with international Directors
- Obtain information on admission, scholarships, and graduate funding processes.
Target Groups:
- Young teachers
- Persons thinking of a start to their next degree
The following universities will be part of the session:
- University of Guelph – Canada
- Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville
- Southeast Missouri State University
- SUNY Brockport
- St. George’s University - Grenada
- Western Illinois University
Date, Time and Place:
- Tuesday, 10th June, 2025 - 12:00pm – Castries Town Hall, Castries, Saint Lucia.
