SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME OF EXCELLENCE
IN DIPLOMACY AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
The Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI) is pleased to invite applications from suitably qualified senior government officials desirous of pursing a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Relations at Al Akhawyne University in Ifrane, Morocco, commencing September 2023.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Master’s programme was borne out of the collaborative efforts of the AMCI and AL Akhawyne University and within their framework for academic cooperation to provide the most deserving students from the Eastern Caribbean countries with opportunities for academic advancement.

VALUE OF SCHOLARSHIP
The Moroccan International Cooperation Agency (AMCI) and Al Akhawayne University will be responsible for honoring the cost associated with the following: -
- Air transport costs (return airplane ticket at the end of studies covered by the AMCI);
- Reception at the airport by the AMCI and transportation to Al Akhawayne University, Ifrane);
- Coverage of accommodation and catering costs by the AMCI, as well as health insurance/repatriation cost in the event of death; and
- Total exemption from registration and tuition fees by the UAI.
Applicants should note that final selection of candidates and award of this scholarship will be done by the AMCI and Al Akhawayne University and will be based on the quality of academic qualifications and the availability of placement.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Therefore, interested applicants must meet the following requirements (please note that the originals will be required in the event of selection to complete the files of the selected candidates): -
- Be no older than 25 years on September 1, 2023;
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with first class honors;
- Application package must contain the following documents:
- Photocopies of your Bachelor’s degree and CSEC;
- Transcript for your Bachelor’s Degree and CSEC;
- Birth certificate;
- Biodata page of your passport
- Police record;
- Medical certificate attesting to the physical fitness of the candidate and certifying that he/she is not suffering from any contagious or acute disease or carrier of a pandemic and, in particular tuberculosis (the candidate may be required to undergo a counter-visit on arrival in Morocco); and
- 2 recent passport photos.
