THE QUEEN’S COMMONWEALTH EASSAY COMPETITION 2020 LAUNCHED BY THE DUCHESS OF CORNWALL

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall, Vice-Patron of the Royal Commonwealth Society, has announced The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition (QCEC) 2020 on the theme ‘Climate Action in the Commonwealth’.  This year’s theme builds upon the 2019 theme of A Connected Commonwealth, and encourages young writers from across the globe to explore the many facets of this critical issue. 

The Competition aims to challenge young people’s thinking by which they can express their views, using creative forms of writing such as essays, poems, short stories or scripts. The QCEC is open to all citizens and residents of the Commonwealth aged 18 and under and is open until June 30, 2020 at 5 p.m. GMT.
