TURKISH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME 2021
The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey is informing of Turkish Programmes and Scholarships for international students, offered by the Ankara University Research Centre of the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM).
Interested persons can apply for the programme via the website of the Social Sciences Institute of Ankara University (http://gradsocialsci.en.ankara.edu.tr), on the dates specified in the 2021-2022 academic calendar. The Programme is tailored to specialize in the following three sub-branches of maritime law:
- International Law of the Sea
- Maritime Law
- Maritime Security Law

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this scholarship opportunity, an applicant must:
- be a citizen and/or permanent legal resident of Saint Lucia;
- be thirty-five (35) years or below;
- submit a completed scholarship application with all supporting documents via the online application form on the following website https://www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr/;
- for the master’s degree programme, applicant should hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited Faculty of Law; and
- for the PhD programme, applicant should hold a master's degree from an accredited college in a field related to law.
Benefits
The Scholarship covers:
- university and programme placement;
- for the master’s programme a monthly scholarship of 1.100 Turkish Liras, and for the doctoral programme a monthly scholarship of 1.600 Turkish Liras;
- one-time return ticket;
- school fee
- health insurance; and
- accommodation.
