UNITED NATIONS SECRETARIAT 2022-2023 YOUNG PROFESSIONALS PROGRAMME (YPP) EXAM
Applications are invited from eligible Saint Lucian nationals for the 2022-2023 Young Professionals Programme (YPP) Examination.
The YPP is a recruitment initiative for talented, highly qualified professionals to start their career with the United Nations Secretariat, as international civil servants. The programme consists of an entrance examination process. Every year, countries that are unrepresented or underrepresented in the United Nations are invited to participate in the YPP.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the programme, candidates must:
- be a national of a participating country;
- hold at least a first-level University degree (a relevant Bachelor’s degree or a three (3) year equivalent degree;
- be thirty-two (32) years of age or younger (Date of birth: On or after 1 January 1985), in the year of examination; and
- be fluent in either English and/or French.
The Examination
The examination tests your substantive knowledge, analytical thinking, drafting abilities as well as your awareness of international affairs.
The examination is free, however, examinees pay their travel to the examination centre. (Saint Lucia’s Examination Centre – To Be Announced).
