A vibrant display of culture, confidence, and Caribbean excellence unfolded as delegates from across the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States came together for the Miss OECS Pageant, an event dedicated to celebrating leadership and unity among the region’s young women.
The prestigious regional event was hosted by the OECS Pageant Committee in partnership with the OECS Commission and brought together delegates from across the Eastern Caribbean under the theme “Crowning Radiance, Embracing Unity,” according to OECS Communications Specialist Jacques Hinkson-Compton.
Hinkson-Compton noted that this year’s pageant highlighted the collective brilliance and leadership of young women across the Eastern Caribbean.
Ambassadors from Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines competed in several judged segments, including creative national wear, performing talent, swimwear, evening gown, and question and answer.
The competition aimed to promote leadership, cultural pride, and regional unity among young women of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States. At the conclusion of the event, Dominica’s Tanisha Balson emerged as the winner, securing the Miss OECS 2026 title and keeping the crown on home soil.
The newly crowned queen received the title from outgoing Miss OECS Kiana Dyer of Dominica, who took her final walk before officially passing on the crown at the regional showcase.
