The executive is responsible for managing the implementation of the programs and promoting the development of the steel pan art form.

The Saint Lucia National Steel Bands Association (SLNSA) held its election for a new committee on Saturday, June 11.

The new committee was elected to serve for two years (2016 -2018).

The new executive comprises ten members including President, Sydwina Alexander; Vice President, Lucius Alexander; Secretary, Krystal Nestor,  and Assistant Secretary, Stacy Chicot.

The executive committee is responsible for managing the implementation of the programs of the SLNSA including promoting the development of the steel pan art form in Saint Lucia and representing the interests of members.

The SLNSA is currently in advanced stages of preparation to contribute to Lucian Carnival 2016 at the main event, the National Panorama Competition, and other collaborative events with carnival stakeholders.
