Effective October 15th 2012, the government of Saint Lucia has introduced Machine Readable Passports. In light of this new initiative and the cost associated, passport fees have been revised.

A Machine Readable Passport will now cost eighty dollars ($80.00) for the regular service and one hundred and thirty dollars ($130.00) for the expedited service. The processing periods are fourteen days for regular service and five working days for the expedited service.

Citizens of Saint Lucia who do not reside in Saint Lucia can continue to apply for their passports at the closest Consulate Offices or High Commission.

Passport application forms can be obtained from the Government Printery or can be downloaded from the following website https://www.stluciaprintery.gov.lc

Citizens are reminded that all relevant supporting documents, namely birth certificates, marriage certificates, deed polls, citizenship documents and divorce decrees are required and must be presented on application for a Saint Lucian passport.

All new or renewed passports will now include all names previously held by the applicant where such names do not appear on an existing passport.
