Having conferred with the US Embassy, the Ministry of External Affairs wishes to state that there is no truth to the visa revocation claims.

The Ministry of External Affairs, International Trade and Civil Aviation, having conferred with the United States Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados, seeks to address the spurious claims about Minister of External Affairs, International Trade and Civil Aviation, Hon. Alva Baptiste; and Minister of Legal Affairs, Hon. Victor Philip La Corbiniere.

The Ministry has been made aware of allegations made on Radio 100 Helen FM and social media, stating that both ministers have had their United States visas revoked. To this end, the ministry wishes to unequivocally state that there is no truth to these claims. In fact, both ministers are holders of valid visas and are able to travel to and from the United States legitimately.
