OAS – DOWLING COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

The Organization of American States (OAS) through the Department of Human Development and Education (DHDE) and the Dowling College (Dowling), through the OAS Partnership Programme for Education and Training (PAEC), are offering scholarships to qualified candidates of the Americas to participate in the:

Master’s programme in Educational Technology Leadership

The programme will be taught online with a two week intensive practicum component in June 2016.  The study programmes’ start date is June 1, 2015 and will run for one (1) year. Courses will be imparted in English.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  1. To qualify for the scholarship, the candidate must have a letter of unconditional admission to the Master’s programme stated above.
  2. The student must not have received other academic scholarships from the OAS or from Dowling for the same level of studies and/or programmes as requested in the 2015 OAS/Dowling application.
  3. The students must be citizens and/or permanent legal residents of any OAS member state, except the United States of America.
  4. Officers of the OAS General Secretariat; persons under performance contracts with the General Secretariat; the staff of the permanent missions to the OAS and their relatives are not eligible for OAS scholarships.

 

BENEFITS

The scholarship covers 45% of tuition fees.

Persons interested in applying for this award must ensure that they are able to meet the remaining cost of studies with Dowling College, which includes roundtrip airfare.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS TO THE OAS – DOWLING SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME IS APRIL 15, 2015.
