SCHOLARSHIPS 2023-2024 in:
- Undergraduate Studies - Nursing
- Undergraduate Studies - Agricultural Engineering
The Government of the Republic of Cuba is offering scholarships to eligible Saint Lucian Nationals to pursue studies at the Bachelor’s levels, tenable at Universities in the Republic of Cuba for the academic year commencing September 2024.
- UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES – NURSING
To be eligible for selection for the undergraduate studies in Nursing, applicants must:
- be a citizen of Saint Lucia of less than 25 years;
- be a new student entering year one;
- be in good physical and mental health;
- be in possession of a valid Certificate of Character;
- have a minimum of two passes at A’ Level examinations or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry; OR possess passes in units one and two of the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) with passes at Grade I, II or III in Biology, Chemistry; OR possess an Associate Degree in Nursing; OR an Associate Degree in a science area; and a minimum of five passes at CXC General level [Grade I, II and III General only] including Mathematics and English and subjects relevant to your desired area of study; and
(f) be from a low income family/household (Financial Needs Form must be completed).
- UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES- AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING
To be eligible for selection for undergraduate studies in Agricultural Engineering, applicants must:
- be a citizen of Saint Lucia of less than 25 years;
- be in good physical and mental health;
- be in possession of a valid Certificate of Character;
- possess passes at A’ Level examinations OR possess passes in units one and two of the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE); OR an Associate Degree/a Diploma from Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC) in Agriculture; and a minimum of five (5) CXC passes at [Grade I, II and III General only] including Mathematics and English in the subjects relevant to your desired area of study; and
- be from a low income family/household (Financial Needs Form must be completed).

- Complete the Online Application, and upload the required documents to your online application.
- After submitting the online application, you will receive a confirmation email.
